Day 486: One down....

"Titoni (Waste Not Whatnot #6)" Acrylic, 30 x 40"

Couldn't resist playing with this today, until I declared it done and signed it. It's fun to look at it up close - so many colours and textures, plus a little surprise: a tiny key that I stuck on there, with its brand name on it: Titoni.

Day 482

I am out this evening at "The Bridge," an open-stage-cum-Unitarian-quasi-service run by my friend Lynn Harrison. I'm going to play my new song. Meanwhile, I did a sketch of the chalice.

Lynn read a poem including the phrase "Stop acting so small." That struck a chord with me.

Day 481

I really just wanted to go to bad after a busy day and evening. Instead I painted this is my art journal... with my left forefinger.

Day 477

Busy day! Could only manage some one-minute sketches from my grocery shopping. Tomorrow I WILL get to that new painting!

Day 472

I have been busy prepping surfaces the past few days. Finally ready to start on my next "stripey pear". I have blocked out the composition on a 30 x 30" wood panel (thought I would try it for a change from canvas).
