Day 6: New Things to Play With

January 06, 2016

For Christmas, my daughter Kayla gave me a tube of watercolour paint: Green Apatite Genuine by Daniel Smith, one of their wonderful mineral pigments. I love the way it granulates and separates into different greens. Speaking of Christmas, it's time to pitch the tree; it's dropping needles everywhere. ;-)

Art Every Day

In 2016, I participated in the "daily art" trend by making some kind of art every day and posting the results here. This was not just for its own sake, but to keep art-making top of mind and improve my skills. I kept it going for over a year and a half. In 2020, with the Covid-19 pandemic making us stay at home, I started up the project again.
