There was a benefit to leaving Toronto later than we planned yesterday, which was getting to drive the scenic part of our route in the beautiful evening light. Every few minutes I saw a scene begging to be painted. We didn't stop to take photos, but I tried to keep the images in my mind's eye. That was my reference material for this little landscape that I did today-- a quintessentially Canadian scene for Canada Day.
I am now halfway through my daily art project: 183 days down and 183 to go!
