A collaborative peace mandala. This evening I had a musical party with some friends and my daughters. Everyone contributed to this mandala. With the U.S. situation in mind, one of the songs we sang was "Dona Nobis Pacem" (Give us peace).

Remembrance Day. It's very timely. All those people died to protect our rights and freedoms, but many of us (at least the white and privileged among us) have come to take them for granted. This week we are beginning to learn how very fragile they are.
